Pro Admin will let you know once your complex is ready for rollover.

Eskom is implementing the rollover of prepaid meters to the new Token Identifier (TID). Before the rollover is implemented in your scheme, all prepurchased tokens must be loaded into the meter as these will not work after recoding.

To recode your meter once the rollover is live in your scheme, purchase recharge electricity tokens from a registered vendor such as a supermarket and online.

When purchasing electricity tokens, you will receive three 20-digit numbers which you will use to recode your meter. If this recoding is not done you won’t be able to purchase electricity.

3 EASY SELF-SERVICE STEPS

You will receive three tokens.

•  The first two will be Key Change Tokens (KCT’s).
•  The third will be an Electricity Credit Token.

Step 1

Enter the first 20 digits of the token and wait for it to be accepted.

 

Step 2

Enter the second 20 digits of the token and wait for it to be accepted.

 

Step 3

Enter the third 20 digits of the token and wait for it to be accepted. Your meter’s recoding is now complete.
